Sue Werner

I am a visual artist. My intention is tell the story of our beautiful world through paintings of the light, color, reflections and moods I see in nature. My subjects are impressionistic landscapes or semi- abstract compositions of natural elements using acrylic paint, but also mixed media to create specific artistic effects.  After retirement from healthcare in 2013, I decided to devote my attention and efforts toward creating an art focused life: painting, participating in art communities and more recently, giving demonstrations and teaching art. I want my paintings to motivate viewers. Let’s work together to protect our fragile natural home!
