Drawing Class with art teacher Kathy Grundei

Do you want to start drawing but don’t know where to begin? Have you done a little drawing but want to grow and learn? This drawing class is designed for you to help you develop the fundamental skills of drawing including shading, composition, perspective & shape. The session includes take-home handouts which will allow you to keep practicing on your own.

Develop your drawing ability through close observation to render shape, tone, pattern and texture.

• Draw from a source picture using a 4-step process, the instructor will guide each step of the way

• Understand why materials matter: Experiment with the variety of techniques produced from high quality paper and drawing materials

• Watch live demonstrations with plenty of time for questions

Supplies/equipment

All supplies provided: Studio quality pencils and paper for you to use in class. Participants should bring a bag lunch.

Registration fee: $20.00 per participant-Payment due at class
