Our Story

Since the Farwell Norwegian Lutheran Church was restored in 2017, dedicated volunteers have organized various art and music events in Farwell.  Over the past five years, as additional buildings became available and were restored, these efforts have grown to include art workshops, dances, movie nights, luncheons, a weekly artist gift shop, indoor and outdoor concerts and gardening tours and demonstrations. 

 

Following the restoration of the Corner Garage and the Creamery buildings in 2022, we are now able to operate out of four beautifully restored buildings, including the charming 1889 Schoolhouse that serves as a rotating art gallery.  In 2023, The Farwell Community Arts Association was formed to serve as the umbrella organization under which future events will be organized, with the goal of continuing to build community, through art.
