About the event
After graduating in 1990 from North Hennepin Community College with a Graphic Design degree I started my own business. Fine art is my passion working in pastels, watercolor, inkwash, pencil, and acrylic. I have illustrated nine children's books, THE CAPTAIN'S HAT and THE ADVENTURES OF MOLLY AND SKUNKY for author Deb Mercier, MISSING MY BEST FRIEND for author, Norma Thorstad Knapp, MR WIGGLEBOTTOM: A CHILD, A CHICKEN AND A CHANCE by Patsy Shannon, and BETSEY: ONE TOUGH TRUCK by JoAnn Biss, VERN THE MIRACLE PUPPY by Faythe Mills with Deb Mercier, HOW I MET HARV by Jennifer Anderson, and TOMMY'S PARADE by Kami Anez, and CATCHING THE WAVES by Deb Mercier.
I was blessed with two sons and five grandchildren. Traveling provides me with many inspirations for my work. We have a small casa in Teacapan, Mexico where I have found wonderful subjects for my artwork.
